There’s a type of pain that comes from betrayal, unparalleled to anything you’ve ever felt. It’s a slow, burning cut that leaves invisible scars.
When the betrayal runs deep, like family, or the people you choose to call family aren’t the ones you thought they were- you can’t help but wonder, “what did I ever do to deserve this?”
So you spiral into anger, rage, frustration, pain, suffering, and grief. Your emotions get so dysregulated that you become numb.
A part of you wants to confront them and tell them dog sh!t has more class than them. The other part is ruminating on what you did wrong.
It was not your fault. None of it. Not even the Universe/God imposes on our free will. But the ones who intentionally hurt you did. That speaks volumes about them.

You may think a drink would help to alleviate the slew of emotions you’re feeling. Before you reach for that bottle, please know that the ones who were betting on your downfall probably want you to relapse.
That’s why they plotted in the first place. I know it’s a hard pill to swallow. But if someone was portraying themselves to be the exact opposite of who they are, you never knew their heart in the first place. You’re going to get through this.
The heartbreak is temporary. You will restore yourself back to safety, peace, and love.
So grab a cup of coffee or tea, get comfy, and try these perspective shifts to work through the betrayal trauma.

YOUR BLESSINGS INCREASE
Oddly enough, when someone does you wrong, and you don’t retaliate, you raise your level of consciousness. You shift to a higher vibration because you know that no matter how crappy you feel right now, things will get better.
That faith and trust increases your blessings. It’s the law of reciprocity- what we put out to the Universe, the Universe will deliver back to us.
It’s really a win-win for you. You keep your hands clean while reaping the rewards.
On a side note, retaliation does not mean you can’t stand up for yourself. You absolutely can and should defend your honor.

THEY GET THEIR KARMA
Karma isn’t just a universal law. Physics has proven it (for every action, there’s an equal reaction). It’s very real.
Maybe karma doesn’t work as quickly as we like it to. But it’s all in divine timing. There are moving parts behind the scenes.
If you’re still unsure or maybe doubt it because they’ve never had to face repercussions, know this- you were strong enough to endure the things they put you through. They’re not. They will eventually drown in their own depravity. No one escapes karma.
It’s also hard to not wonder what they’re karma is going to be or when they’re going to get it, but try not to. You have bigger fish to fry.
Remember, when your consciousness raises, things change. So, it’s just a matter of time before there’s a boomerang effect. Sit back (grab a bowl of popcorn if you want) and let the Universe work its magic for you.

TURN PAIN INTO POWER & PURPOSE
Intellectualize your emotions and feel your way through them. Then use your pain and suffering as fuel to climb to new heights.
Build an inner empire. Focus on becoming the best version of yourself.
When you bring your awareness within instead of externally, you reclaim your power. When you find your power, nothing, and I mean nothing, can destroy your inner peace or sanctity.
Then pay it forward. Lean into your softness. Softness is strength. Show love to those who reciprocate it and love from a distance with those that don’t.

I’ll see you soon…in the meantime, love yourself so much that even a Hallmark Christmas movie would be jealous.
