Short on time but still want to start each day in sobriety with some quick rituals? You’re definitely going to want to try these out. Remember to save this post so you can come back to it.
If I had less than 5 minutes in the morning, it would be these rituals. They help to set the tone for our day, reprogram our subconscious mind, and change the relationship we have with ourselves.
Grab a cup of coffee or tea, get comfy, and get these quick morning rituals to transform each day.
EXPRESS HEARTFELT GRATITUDE
We can write down all the gratitudes our willpower can muster. But if we don’t feel it in our heart, it won’t be as impactful.
This is why:
Our heart sends more signals to the brain than the brain to the heart.
It begins in the heart- your purpose to quit drinking, the love, the gratitude. As you wake up each day, express heartfelt gratitude for one thing.
Choose your gratitude with intention to how it makes you feel- this is something that’s sentimental and stirs up emotions. You don’t have to go crazy creating a new one each day. It’s even better to say the same gratitude everyday because you’re reprogramming your subconscious mind through repetition.
Remember, this is about the feelings behind the words. So it’s not about practicing gratitude. It’s about embodying it.
If you’re not in a place where you’re able to have gratitude, that’s ok. We’ve all been there. Myself included. You can read this post to help you navigate your emotions surrounding gratitude.

DECIDE HOW YOUR DAY WILL BE
It’s one thing to go with the flow. But we also can’t watch life pass us by. We need to actively co-create with the Universe.
One simple way to do that is to decide each morning when you wake up how your day is going to be. I’ll give you my go to mantra. You can always switch the words around so it’s in your voice along with the guides you work with.
Today is going to be an amazing day because it already is. Archangel Michael, show me how much better it’s going to get.

SAVOR THE FIRST SIP OF COFFEE/TEA
When was the last time you had a quiet, peaceful moment with yourself? We’re always rushing off to the next place or thinking about what we have to do, that we don’t really enjoy what’s in front of us.
It’s not that we lack appreciation, we’ve become disconnected. So, take a moment to begin building a connection to yourself.
Allow yourself to enjoy that first sip of your coffee/tea and really savor it. It can take a few seconds or a minute. But it really doesn’t matter how much time you have because it’s about what you do with the time you have.
