I think one of the hardest things for anyone who chooses to look within is outgrowing people, places, situations, things. Especially your old self- the one who fought the battles to get you here, the mindsets that even though they don’t serve you anymore, kept you alive, that younger version of you, while they may have been naive, they were innocent.
A part of you can’t help but feel like you owe them because you do. I mean, they’re the reason you are who you are today. It’s bittersweet.

But what’s on the other side is the promise of all your hard work paying off. It’s everything you’ve ever wanted. It’s the life you daydream about.
