We all have a soul yes- the thing that makes our hearts beat in that special way, the place that tugs at our heart strings even if we’ve never been there, the desire to do something even if we’ve never tried it, the person we feel a strong magnetic attraction to, the pull towards the inexplicable.
It’s what our soul yearns for. It’s the thing that no matter what societal conditioning dictates, we can’t ignore the gravitation we feel for it.
But, we resist. Sometimes, we’re even more determined to resist our attraction to something than to pacify the calling.

It’s natural. It’s hard to trust what we can’t see or what isn’t guaranteed. And when something isn’t guaranteed, it can feel more like a gamble rather than a calculated risk to venture into uncharted territories.
But, what if the calling is the guarantee? What if that pull you feel is the confirmation that’s where your happiness and success will be? What if those are seeds planted by the Divine to align you with the greatest version of yourself?
We can ask ourselves a 1,000 what ifs. But, for every what if, there’s also 1,000 possibilities that it’s meant for you and another 1,000 reasons why you should take a leap of faith.
What if things are just ok because you’re meant to do something greater? What if you’re not really happy because your soul already knows where your happiness is? Or what if you feel stuck because your freedom is meant to be in the unknown? What if you’re meant to trust the process and allow yourself to be guided in this journey of what we call life?
We won’t know until we take that leap of faith on ourselves. Maybe what should be scarier than taking the chance is not knowing what the outcome will be because you didn’t take that chance.
What’s your soul yes? What’s the thing you keep denying yourself for whatever reason- it’s too irrational and illogical, it’s too scary, you’ve never done it, you wouldn’t even know where to start, what if you get rejected, what if you fail, it would take too long, what if your friends and family think you’re crazy, etc.?

What’s that one thing you’ve spoken to the people you know would talk you out of doing it or going after it? And despite all of their reasons and all of the reasons you give yourself why it wouldn’t work out, you still get that feeling when you think about it. There’s passion, excitement, intensity- but it’s also peaceful and calming, like you’re finally home after a journey of being lost your entire life.
Maybe that feeling will only get better when you take a chance on yourself. Maybe that feeling is how you’re supposed to feel. Or maybe that feeling is your soul already knowing your destiny.
Our destiny is written in the choices we make. So write your destiny by saying yes to your soul yes.
