When the name Cleen Carma popped into my mind eight and a half years ago, I knew I had to register the domain right away. I also knew I was supposed to start my own business, with spirituality being at the forefront of it.
I had absolutely no idea exactly what to do though. Well, I did. I just didn’t want to admit it to myself.
I decided to write blog posts until I could figure out my purpose. All of my posts (they’re now deleted) were spiritually and woo woo based. And I kind of miss it.
So, we’re gonna take a stroll down memory lane with a manifesting iced tea. This has never actually been published on the website, but I’ve shared it almost every summer solstice with my email list since I tried it.
It keeps things fun and lighthearted, gets us out of our own head, and helps us to recognize our own potential and what we can manifest with a little intention.
Because healing is so much more than confronting the parts of ourselves we don’t know how to love- it’s about asking out loud for the things we silently wish for. It’s about growing into the person we daydream about becoming. And, it’s about learning to enjoy life from a lens we’ve never seen ourselves through.
So, hopefully, this iced tea will help you get out of your head and into your heart.
A FEW TIPS:
You don’t have to use all the herbs and crystals that are listed below. You don’t even have to use any of them if you don’t want to. I just find them to be helpful tools when we don’t really believe in ourselves and our capabilities. Intention is the most important tool you will ever have. So, don’t think you have to go out and buy things you may not use again.
If it isn’t summer where you are, you can still do this. You can “charge” your tea under the sun or moon. Then put it in the fridge or heat it up before drinking it.
You also don’t have to limit this to tea. You can make iced coffee, lemonade, or any type of infused water. This is about making what you like while manifesting.
WHAT YOU NEED:
- 1 gallon pitcher
- 8 black tea bags
- ½ cup fresh mint leaves
- ¼ cup fresh basil leaves
- a few fresh lavender flowers (not too much- you only want a hint of flavor
- lemon
- 1 cup simple syrup (optional)
- crystals (optional)
- Pen
- Paper
Basil is for divination, luck, creativity, prosperity, health, and courage.
Mint is for love, luck, happiness, vitality, and healing.
Lavender helps to induce psychic abilities and brings clarity, love, and harmony.
Lemon purifies, cleanses, and renews.
HOW TO MAKE THE ICED TEA:
- Bring a pot of water to a boil.
- While you’re waiting for the water to boil, write down what you want with pen and paper. Once you have all of your intentions written down, fold the paper.
- If you’re choosing to make a simple syrup, add 1 cup of water with one cup of sugar to a saucepan and let it simmer for a few minutes until all of the sugar is dissolved.
- Place all of the tea bags into the pitcher. You can use a chopstick or wooden spoon to wrap the tea bags around so they don’t sink.
- Put the herbs into a strainer and place it into the pitcher.
- Pour the boiling water into your tea and herb mixture. Add in the simple syrup if you’re using it.
- Cover the pitcher with a lid or plate.
- You can put the crystals on top of the plate or lid if you’re using them.
- Place the iced tea on top of your intentions, outside or by a window to absorb the sun’s energies for a few hours. After a couple of hours, put the iced tea in the fridge to chill.
I’ll see you soon…in the meantime, love yourself so much that even a Hallmark Christmas movie would be jealous.
