I’ve seen so many content creators talking about manifestations like we can just believe our way into it, as if somehow, delusion is enough to sustain our lives. And of course, we absolutely do manifest through belief, but we also can’t hold those manifestations when our brains and bodies don’t feel safe enough to hold onto them.
We end up finding some way to sabotage it. And that’s no fault of our own. We just need to understand how to keep our manifestations.
If you reflect on your own experiences, you’ll notice that you have manifested in both low and high points. But, how those manifestations appeared and stayed were really different.

When we manifest from the unhealed parts of ourselves, we’re manifesting the unhealed version of the manifestation.
Let’s use money as an example- I’ve manifested money by getting jobs I thought were dream jobs. But, when the high wore off and reality set in, it was nothing like I thought it was. And of course, nothing and no one is perfect. But, they also weren’t healthy attachments. It no longer became an exchange of time and money. It became a codependent bond of imprisonment.
Or relationships- I desperately wished for someone to save me. And wouldn’t you know it, someone would show up like they were my answered prayers only for me to realize they were everything we’re taught to run away from.
That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t manifest, we absolutely should. Manifestations help us to overcome our limitations and they teach us how to ask for things we’re too scared to speak out loud.
Our manifestations aren’t a reflection of who we are. Our manifestations are a reflection of who we think we are.

So, if things start to go south once the manifestation arrives, look at it from a place of how you can grow, not what you did wrong. And this isn’t about blaming yourself for needing to grow more, it’s about asking yourself what internal blockages may be keeping you stagnant.
Because it’s not about the right and wrong way of manifesting, it’s about the healed and unhealed way of manifesting.
It’s about dreaming big, but also grounding yourself into safety. We can’t just think our manifestations into existence. We need to have the capacity to hold them once they arrive.
This isn’t to say you have to wait until you’re healed to manifest. Absolutely not. Manifest while you’re healing. It will build your capacity to hold more. It will also give you the encouragement to keep going. You can try the following exercise to help you out.
TRY THIS EXERCISE:
- Get comfy and either sit or lay down.
- Close your eyes and begin to deepen your breath.
- Think about the things you want, the life you want, who you want to share your experiences with.
- Notice the sensations in your body. Don’t try to change it, just notice.
- If at any moment, the discomfort becomes too much, you can return to your normal breathing.
- This isn’t about forcing our bodies to react the way we think they should. It’s about allowing our bodies to feel, so we can release the blockages, limitations, and anything else that makes us feel we can’t have what we want.
Remember this- you can have everything you want. But it isn’t enough to just believe it, you need to feel safe enough to hold it. And you will.
I’ll see you soon…in the meantime, love yourself so much that even a Hallmark Christmas movie would be jealous.
