Ready to find out what Virgo season has in store for you based on your zodiac sign so you can heal deeper in your recovery journey? Then keep reading to find out how you can become the upgraded version of yourself.
I’m thinking about calling these zodiac season soberscopes. If that’s too cheesy and dorky, by all means, let me know. I’d rather you be honest than make a fool of myself.
Anyway, why work with the zodiac seasons instead of each month? This is from my own personal experimentation. I used to focus on goals in my own recovery journey based on the months. But once the sun switched zodiac signs, I found myself shifting priorities. Which left me not completing whatever I set out to do.
So I decided to work with each zodiac season instead. Since then, I’ve managed to find a much better balance. I thought I’d share with you how you can heal with each zodiac season based on your astrology.
Keep in mind there are other planetary transits which affect each of us individually so this is just a brief rundown of how you can heal. If you’d like a more detailed analysis specific for you, check out my services.
The sun entered Virgo on 8/22/22 and will remain there until 9/22/22, when it enters Libra. Because Virgo brings the culmination of summer, this transit’s theme is about completing unfinished business and tying up loose ends.
Virgo, the ruler of the sixth house, means it’s time to get organized through structuring a daily work routine that complements our standards, focusing on our health and wellness, and evaluating what relationships in our lives are unbalanced so we can improve.
Virgo is the Latin word for virgin, a sign of purity and innocence. It’s the healer of the zodiac so you can harness these energies to focus on personal growth and evolution.
As with everything in life, Virgo possesses a duality- the light and the dark. You’ll see in the lists below what areas you want to place emphasis on and what areas you want to steer away from.
If you find yourself adopting the shadow qualities of Virgo, that’s ok. It’s there to highlight the areas you need to evolve. None of us are perfect so be easy and gentle with yourself.
The Theme of Virgo Season:
- Clean your mind, home, and energetic body

VIRGO SEASON RECOVERY
With the sun transiting through your sixth house of work, daily routines, health and wellness, now would be a great time to take stock of what needs revamping in these areas. If you haven’t started a morning recovery routine yet, this transit may give you the impetus to become the upgraded version of yourself. Use the go-getter and take charge energy that comes so naturally for you and you’ll accomplish anything you set your mind to.
Virgo transiting your fifth house of creativity and romance is asking you to explore these areas while remaining your natural practical and grounded self. The theme for you is to have fun and grow. Explore your childlike innocence with wonder and curiosity. Start those projects you keep putting off for tomorrow. Learn a new hobby you’ve always wanted to but never had the time for. You never know what you’ll unravel about yourself in the process.
With the sun shining in your sector of home and family, now would be a great time to hunker down and enjoy the cozy comforts of hearth and home. Lounge around with those you call family and enjoy the simple pleasures- think late summer s’mores around an outdoor fire. If you’re up for embracing your inner Chip & Joanna Gaines, some minor DIY home projects may heal you in unexpected ways. Whatever is going to help you find home within yourself, go for it.
With Virgo in your third house of communication, travel, and technology, use your natural intuitive abilities to communicate your emotions on a visceral level. It’s about getting comfortable with your own emotional body so you don’t have to let anyone but yourself into your heart if you’re not up for it. Something as simple as taking a day trip to your favorite spot and journaling will work wonders for you. Use this time to heal the pain and suffering so you can shine your grace.
With the sun transiting your second house of values, possessions, and worth, take some time to declutter anything that’s bringing down your energy. Cleanse your space, energetically and physically. Switch out your closet for fall clothes, reflect on how you can increase your sense of self-worth, and focus on your personal development. You’ll feel so much better once you say good riddance to anything that’s blocking you from shining your natural Leo qualities.
Happy Birthday Virgo! With your solar return, this is an amazing time to set intentions of what you want the next year in recovery to bring for you. Looking to tackle business goals? Or maybe to radiate and glow up? Whatever it is, set your sights on your goals. And try not to disparage yourself in the process. You are the healer in the zodiac so you possess the ability to heal yourself and others. Emit your purity and innocence first within, then out into the world.
With the sun transiting your twelfth house of secrets, the subconscious, and spirituality, this season is perfect for you to take a deep dive into your own spiritual practices. When you do, the secrets you hide from yourself surface so you can heal on a prolific level. It would also benefit you to keep a dream journal so you can decode the messages being given to you by the unseen forces. The hidden treasures are lurking within your subconscious.
If the only friends you keep are drinkers (nothing wrong with that but sometimes you want a reprieve), this may be a great time for you to start building a sober network. It doesn’t have to be in person meetings. It can be internet groups dedicated to living a sober life. Or just reaching out to other like-minded individuals so you can broaden your horizons. Whatever you choose to do, go into it with an open mind. You never know the kindred spirits you’ll meet on your journey.
With Virgo in your tenth house of reputation, recognition, and career, now is a great time to focus on what you want your legacy to be. What contributions do you want to make to the world? What do you want to be known for? This isn’t about doing it for recognition, but to better yourself in recovery. Use your larger than life personality to think outside the box. Shoot for the stars and moon because you of all people will know how to get there.
With the sun in your sector of philosophy, religion, higher learning, and spirituality, this would make a great time to focus on your sober belief system. Have you been too rigid with how you view recovery? Or maybe haven’t reflected on what recovery means to you? Take some time to dive into what you want your life to look like so you can figure out what your beliefs surrounding life in sobriety are. There is no right or wrong answer- only what holds true to your strong integrity.
With Virgo in your eighth house of sex, death (don’t worry- it’s not a physical death), and other people’s money, this season would be great to shed the layers of armor you’ve built around yourself. Begin the process of finding who you are on a core level. Or maybe you’ve got a business idea that’s been on your mind. Loans are favorable for you during this transit. This time is auspicious for you to tap into the innovative prowess you possess to see what you can create.
With Virgo in your seventh house of partnerships, focusing on your marriage would be really beneficial- the desires left unsaid, words that turned into scars, the fights that lingered for too long. What can you heal so you two can conquer the world? If you’re unattached, you may want to focus on the qualities you want in a partner. You never know what the Universe will surprise you with. But please make sure you’re healing yourself first before entering any partnership.
Now that you’ve got your Virgo season horoscope, you can use it as a part of your healing process in recovery.
