First pillar of success: MINDSET- to bring in love & magic

first pillar of success-mindset

Welcome to the first pillar of success in this seven week series!

I’m so excited to be sharing this with you today.  If you’re not familiar with my website and ethos, it’s all about love and magic.

My mission is to make the world a better place through healing.  The more we heal, the more we love.  The more we love, the better the world becomes.  When that happens, we can witness all the magic that we’re blessed with on a daily basis.

Being infatuated with the world of the esoteric since I was a little girl, traveling the spiritual path is more than a passion for me; it’s a lifestyle.  In fact, I traveled into the abyss of my darkness for several years before I was able to find the light.

The only constant that I had when the going got tough was my faith.  The faith in a higher power, the faith that things would eventually get better, and eventually, faith in myself.

Through my trials and tribulations, I learned a great deal about myself.  Hugely, that I am in a perpetual state of manifesting.  Well, we all are.

With this epiphany, my entire life changed- it was finally about freaking time!

Throughout this beautifully and sometimes pretty messy journey, I’ve applied spiritually based principles fueled with motivation to inspire my own journey and to start living my life according to what I wanted rather than living a life of what others expected of me.

It’s been incredibly rewarding, gratifying, and liberating.

Now it’s my turn to pay it forward.

If you apply these methods to your everyday life on a consistent basis, your attitude towards yourself and your life will shift drastically.  So, keep that in mind every time that you’re tempted to wave the white flag.

You’re not allowed to quit on yourself…make it a mantra.

That’s why I’m here…to share the seven principles of success.  When you apply these, you’ll ultimately bring in more love and magic to your life.

As each week progresses, you’ll be given the tools and resources you need to be successful in all facets of your life. Which is what love and magic is all about. It starts from within so that your external world can reflect what’s going on inside.

First pillar of success: Mindset

It may not be any surprise to you that the first pillar to success for more love and magic is all about the mindset.

We’re certainly not strangers to the phrase that our thoughts create our realities.  However, that’s not the case.  Our thoughts create energies which in turn affirms our reality.

If you want success, you have to think that you’re already successful.  What you think, you attract.

This is primarily geared towards the mindset that we have in relation to our finances. When you can view money as being magical and that you’re in love with money, well, you will bring in much more of it.

Contrary to popular belief, you need to love money. It’s not something to shy away from.

It doesn’t mean that you have to publicly advertise your salary. But you also can’t have the mentality that money is the root of all evil. Because if you do, money will always be demonic which means you’ll only further push it away the more it tries to enter your life.

That also doesn’t mean that you have to go into debt because you’re going on shopping sprees like a multi-millionaire, but it does mean that you have to think like one.  Meaning you have to think about your relationship with money.

It may be peculiar to think about having a relationship with money because that’s what we have with people, not tangible objects.  But, this is the primary reason that there are those who flourish versus those who are drowning in debt.

It all boils down to our relationship with money.  Our relationship with our finances is in direct correlation to our mindset which will in turn become our reality.

What establishes a healthy relationship with money?

First and foremost, our thoughts towards it

For instance, if you think that you’re going to be consumed with debt for the rest of your life, it remains to be your reality for eternity.

Now, if you twist that around and think that you’re just in a temporary lull with your finances and that within “x” amount of time, you will earn financial freedom, it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.

See how these two situations are the same but the thoughts are vastly different?

The more positive you are about your finances, no matter how indebted to creditors you are, the more abundance you’re going to bring your way.  Your thoughts are a magnet for what you receive.

Second- how we spend our money

How we spend money is so crucial to the first pillar of success because it speaks immense volumes about our mindset towards finances. It can be pretty balanced or veering towards extremism.

There are three different scenarios with this one.

  • Either you’re quick to spend what you have without any regard to building a nest egg.
  • Or you save everything that you earn not allowing yourself to have fun in the process.
  • Or you have a balance of both- you choose to indulge once in awhile without being frivolous while having funds for a rainy day.

How we choose to spend money speaks immensely to our relationship with ourselves.

For example, if you spend mindlessly:

  • Is it because deep down, you feel that you need to show the world what you have?
  • Did your parents spend this same careless way when you were a child?
  • Do you need validation from others?

If you’re too frugal with your money:

  • Is it because you felt that you never had enough money growing up?
  • Were your parents always struggling to pay the bills?
  • Do you need to control what you have because you feel like you have no control over anything in your life?

Third- how you want to attract more money

The third, but not the least important portion of this first pillar of success is all about how we want to attract more money in our lives.

Our thoughts about how we want to bring in the money doesn’t just apply to our emotional relationship with it.

You have to want to come from a place of wanting to increase your finances for the betterment of humanity with your skills and talent.

You could be asking as opposed to what?

Well, rather than wanting to increase your net worth for yourself.  Don’t get me wrong, we all want to have more money and in order to get more, we have to have a healthy relationship with our financial thoughts, but when we’re selfless rather than selfish, we’re already in the mindset to attract more.

And you may be asking why?

Because when you’re genuinely coming from a place of wanting to help others, you’re aligning your wants with your beliefs.  When they’re out of sync, there simply cannot be a balance between the two.

How can you be in service to others?

Which may naturally be leading you to be asking why you’re even reading any of this because after all, you’re here to learn how to bring in more money.

In order to make more money, you need others to purchase the services that you’re selling, correct?

Well, if you only want to make more money without genuinely aiding others through your offerings, you simply won’t last long.

On the opposite spectrum, when you sincerely want to make others lives easier because of what you have to offer, then people will see AND feel that and will start to gravitate towards you, almost effortlessly.

Essentially, your mindset applies to not only what you think about money, but also how you want to bring it in.

When you apply this first pillar of success to your life, you’ll automate call open yourself to receiving more love and magic.

How’s your mindset in relation to your finances? Does it need some improving? Let me know in the comments below.

Stay tuned for next week’s principle- goal setting.

See ya soon.
