Create a magical spring- 5 ways to bring in magic now

create a magical spring

Tis the season to create a magical spring.  When you can feel the love and magic in the air, you have a little extra pep in your step.

It makes you feel so alive and happy.  Which we all could use a little more of, right?

It’s time to climb out of hibernation and breathe in the fresh air that we’ve been missing for what feels like too damn long.  Which is why March is the perfect time to create a little more magic.

March signifies the end of winter and the dawn of a new era.  It’s no longer the winter of despair because it becomes the spring of hope.

When we have hope, we create magic.  With magic, our lives transform from dreams to reality.  But dreams need to be created before magic can happen.

So dream.  Dream big because this is the month to get it started.

March is when the flowers bloom which is also a metaphorical fertility for us.  It’s the time of birthing new ideas and projects in order to reap the rewards during the fall.

This month can bring in so much for you as long as you allow yourself to receive what it is you’re seeking.  You can read more about the cosmic weather report here to help you navigate the month of promises.

To utilize the energies of March to bring in more love and magic into your life, use these five tips to create a magical spring and become an alchemist in no time.

Let’s get started, shall we?

1. Clean your home

This is first on the list because your home needs to be cleaned before you can do anything else.  Give it a thorough and deep clean.

  • Get rid of all the clutter
  • Discard all paperwork you no longer need
  • Donate clothes you no longer wear
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum your entire home
  • Flip all mattresses and change the bedding

2. Smudge your home

To really amplify the fresh energies that March promises, you need to spiritually cleanse your entire home.

You can use sage, palo santo, or copal.  Sage is definitely the most common but if you’re into more woodsy and natural aromas, then palo santo and copal will be right up your alley.

All you have to do is open your doors and windows before you spiritually cleanse to make sure all the negative energies are removed.

Once you do, take whatever smudging tool you have and wave it around your entire home.

Voila!  That’s it.  Only a few minutes of your time and your home is clean and ready to bring in more love and magic.

3. Salt bowl

Once your home is all clean and ready to welcome new energies, it’s time to have a salt bowl or two on hand.

This is a one ingredient wonder at dispelling the negative energies.  If you’ve had a tough winter and were cooped up in your home for the past few months, this is going to be the perfect antidote.

All you need is to pour some salt into a bowl and place it at whatever entrance you feel could use some protection, such as by the front door, garage door, back door, or bedroom door.  You can even have them at all entrances if you prefer.

After a day, remove the salt and replace each bowl with fresh salt.  Repeat this on the second day.  Repeat it again on the third day.  You want to replace the salt three days in a row.

On the third day, you’re going to leave the salt bowl at wherever entrance you choose for a week before you discard it.

That’s all there is to it.  All you need is a little salt to create a magical spring.

4. Make a worry bag

I absolutely love this tip.  The inspiration came from me being gifted with Guatemalan worry dolls by my father when I was younger.

It’s based on a folklore- you speak your worries to the dolls and place them under your pillow before going to sleep.  By the morning, the worry dolls present you with the courage to eradicate your worries.

Worry dolls are such a great way to remove the despair of winter that’s still lingering around.  Spring is the start of the astrological new year so decluttering your worries will help you to remove all of the mental junk.

You certainly don’t have to buy a set of worry dolls when you can simply make your own worry bag.

To make a worry bag, you will need:

  • Muslin bag or any small bag you have
  • Pen
  • Paper
  • Broken crystals

Write down your worries on separate pieces of paper and fold them in small pieces.  Put them in the bag along with the broken crystals.  Tie it up.  Place it under your pillow before you go to sleep.  Voila!  Your own worry bag to kiss the anxiety away.

5. Love & luck elixir

If you want magic, you gotta create a little.  That’s where this love & luck elixir can help you out.  It’s super simple- only three ingredients.  Give it try for a dose of Lady Luck by your side.

To make this, you’ll need:

  • 2 oz. amber glass bottle with eye dropper
  • Rain water
  • Aloe vera gel
  • 1 Pukka love tea bag with the herbs taken out

You want an amber bottle because you don’t want the sun to infuse into the rain water.  Rain water is magical because it’s fresh from the heavens.  Next time it rains, collect some for this spell.

You can use fresh aloe for this, but you’ll need to add vitamin E oil to prolong the shelf life of the aloe.  Which makes aloe vera gel much easier.  Just be sure to go organic and get at least 90% aloe when you’re using the gel.

I love Pukka teas because their ethos is amazing and their flavors taste great.  You can purchase the Love tea here.  I will not receive a commission- I’m just a fan of their teas.

All you have to do is mix about 3 tbsp of the aloe vera gel with 1 tbsp of water in a bowl.  You want to make sure that the gel still has a thick consistency.  Then add the love herbs and mix well.  Spoon the mixture into your glass bottle.

You now have your very own love & luck elixir.

Carry it around with you and squeeze the potion onto your hands whenever you feel you could use an extra boost of love and luck.

There you have it…how to create a magical spring.  Try these out and you’ll be well on your way to
